  • Who We Are:
  • Global Traffic Group (GTG) develops traffic safety and enforcement technologies that help municipalities create safer roads and better-connected communities. As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced B2B marketer who can lead our entry into new markets, generate opportunities for sales, and explain our technology through exceptional writing.
  • About the Role:
  • As the Marketing Manager, Growth , you will lead marketing for GTG’s expansion into new markets, beginning with priority states in the United States. Reporting to the COO, you’ll work closely with our Business Development team to build awareness, generate qualified opportunities, and win work in large new markets.

New market development is the primary focus of this role. You’ll research target customers, develop outreach campaigns, and create compelling materials that help municipal and government decision-makers understand the value of GTG’s technology.

You’re an excellent writer who can take technical detail and make it compelling to government decision-makers. You’ll bring that skill to everything we produce, from outreach campaigns to proposals, and help us improve how we present GTG.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can set priorities, work independently, measure results, and recommend what should come next. In your first few months, you’ll launch our first US campaigns and help improve how we present GTG in proposals.

What You’ll Do:

Market Growth: Drive marketing for GTG’s entry into new markets, beginning with priority US states. Research target agencies, build and verify contact lists, develop targeted outreach campaigns and landing pages, maintain accurate CRM records, and generate qualified meetings for Business Development.

Content & Technical Writing: Write clear, persuasive content for municipal and government buyers, including outreach emails, case studies, articles, product pages, specification sheets, and presentations. Translate technical features into meaningful customer benefits.

Proposals & Sales Materials: Work with our proposal team to strengthen RFP responses and proposals, improving the writing, structure, accuracy, branding, and presentation of submissions and sales materials.

Events: Coordinate conferences and trade shows, including registration, booth materials, pre-event outreach, and lead follow-up.

Website & Digital Marketing: Manage website updates, forms, social content, and analytics to support campaigns and increase enquiries.

Advertising & Performance: Brief and coordinate external advertising specialists, track campaign results and qualified opportunities, and recommend improvements.

AI & Automation: Use AI and marketing automation to support research, content, outreach, and reporting while checking accuracy and quality.

What You Bring:

5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including leading campaigns for growth or entry into a new market.

Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to make technical subjects clear and persuasive.

Experience marketing technology or services to government or public-sector buyers.

Experience contributing to RFP responses or business proposals.

Hands-on experience with targeted outreach, lead generation, email campaigns, CRM records, and website updates.

Confidence using AI tools, with sound judgment about accuracy, confidentiality, and limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting expansion into US markets.

Experience in traffic technology, infrastructure, or other technical B2B sectors, including municipal purchasing and longer sales cycles.

Conference or trade-show coordination, or experience managing external advertising specialists.

Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Pipedrive, SharePoint, Zapier, Claude, or comparable tools.

  • The Ideal Candidate:
  • You can identify an opportunity, develop a practical marketing approach, and carry out the work with limited direction. You ask thoughtful questions, work effectively with technical and sales teams, and produce clear, polished content. You understand that successful marketing needs to generate meaningful sales conversations, and you use results to guide your next steps.

Why Join GTG?

Contribute to technology that improves road safety and supports communities.

Work closely with a team that values initiative, curiosity, and collaboration.

Earn $85,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience, with benefits and opportunities to grow your skills.

Enjoy a paid day off for your birthday.

On-site parking.

Work Conditions:

Full-time, on-site position in St. Albert, Alberta.

Travel within Canada and to the US for conferences, customer meetings, and business requirements.

Multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Conditions of Employment:

Satisfactory criminal background check.

Legal authorization to work in Canada.
