About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

About the Role

  • NetSuite is already implemented at OpenLoop, so the heavy lift is done. Now we need someone to get the most value out of it: connecting it to the rest of our stack, building the cost centers and customizations Finance needs, and helping us forecast with confidence well beyond the next six months.
  • As our NetSuite Engineer, you'll build out the financial planning and analysis framework that shows how a fast-growing company runs, with real autonomy and real ownership of the results.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain NetSuite customizations. Write and support the workflows, automations and reporting that speed up the close, keep financial data accurate and inform decisions for Finance, Accounting and Operations.

Own integrations between NetSuite and the rest of the stack. Design and monitor data flows between NetSuite and systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, payroll/HRIS, billing, procurement, banking and the data warehouse, using industry-leading integration techniques. Handle error alerts, retries and reconciliation.

Support month-end close and financial accuracy. Work with Accounting on the GL, revenue recognition, consolidation of multiple subsidiaries, intercompany transactions and close automation. Fix data and process problems that slow the close down.

Build out cost centers and FP&A capabilities. Partner with FP&A to structure cost centers, track actuals vs. forecast, and support scenario and long-range planning.

Run strong change management and controls. Use industry-leading techniques, develop in sandbox first, and release through a documented process. Maintain roles, permissions and segregation of duties to meet SOX/ITGC audit requirements.

Act as the go-to technical expert for the business. Turn requirements into scalable designs, manage the NetSuite release upgrades, retire old customizations, and find places where automation or AI can cut manual finance work.

Who You Are

  • You speak both NetSuite and finance. You understand what Finance is trying to achieve, translate requirements from our product owner and business analysts into clean, scalable solutions, and take pride in a close that runs smoothly and numbers people trust.
  • Required Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on NetSuite development and administration.

Experience building and supporting NetSuite integrations with Salesforce and HubSpot

Strong financial and business acumen, including GL, revenue recognition, multi-subsidiary consolidation and close.

Experience with change management rigor and SOX/ITGC controls, roles and segregation of duties.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience integrating NetSuite with an HRIS (Rippling or Workday) to bring salary costs into cost centers.

Experience with an iPaaS or other modern integration tools.

FP&A, budgeting or forecasting experience.

Experience using automation or AI to reduce manual finance work.

Our Benefits

In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:

Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts

Flexible PTO

401(k) + Company Match

Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more

Our Company

We have a relatively flat organizational structure here at OpenLoop. Everyone is encouraged to bring ideas to the table and make things happen. This fits in well with our core values of Autonomy, Competence and Belonging, as we want everyone to feel empowered and supported to do their best work.

Sound like a good fit? We’d love to meet you.
