Requirements

What You'll Do

• •Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and functional assessments
• •Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs
• •Deliver skilled interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• •Address cognitive, perceptual, sensory, upper extremity, and functional mobility deficits
• •Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and safety strategies
• •Educate patients, families, and caregivers to support successful outcomes
• •Collaborate with nursing, physicians, rehabilitation professionals, and facility leadership
• •Supervise and support Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate
• •Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings and discharge planning discussions
• •Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• •Current Ohio Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• •Skilled nursing, geriatric, or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred
• •Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes
