Job Description Summary

This role is part of the end-to-end Value Stream operating model, structured around 4 Value Streams to better support our customers from opportunity through execution. This model will strengthen accountability and cross-functional collaboration, enabling faster, more predictable delivery, improved customer outcomes, and sustainable growth.

The Commercial Process Manager – Outages Value Stream is a global role responsible for strengthening commercial and ITO process discipline across the Outages Value Stream. The role supports a reliable and consistent commercial operating model through stronger standard work, governance, process documentation, handoff quality, and continuous improvement.

Working across commercial, CommOps, field services, tendering, quality, sourcing, finance, and execution teams, this role helps reduce process defects, rework, and variability in outage-related commercial activity. The role also supports commercial Value Stream transformation through practical deployment of common methods, lessons learned, and Zero Defect actions. Reporting to the Commercial & Pricing Leader – Outages Value Stream, this role helps drive day-to-day process rigor and sustained improvement globally.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• •Lead day-to-day management and continuous improvement of commercial and ITO processes for the Outages Value Stream, with focus on reliability, consistency, and execution discipline.
• •Strengthen and maintain standard work, process flows, governance routines, review quality, and escalation paths across outage-related commercial activity.
• •Own and maintain process documentation within the SPS ITO and Commercial QMS framework, ensuring procedures, work instructions, and control points remain current, clear, and aligned with transformation goals.
• •Partner with Sales, CommOps, Tendering, Field Services, Execution, Sourcing, Finance, and Quality teams to improve process discipline in scope definition, assumptions, exclusions, handoffs, and execution readiness.
• •Lead or coordinate investigation of Outages NCRs related to commercial process, ITO handoff, scope quality, documentation quality, assumptions, and execution readiness.
• •Drive structured root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions, and ensure recurring issues are translated into stronger standard work and process controls.
• •Support deployment of the Zero Defect Network program for the Outages Value Stream by converting defect themes and lessons learned into practical process improvements.
• •Reduce process defects, rework, and variability through stronger controls, lessons learned, and disciplined follow-up of open actions.
• •Support operating reviews and leadership discussions with process health updates, recurring issue themes, open actions, and improvement priorities.
• •Drive adoption and sustainment of process changes through training, coaching, communication, and reinforcement of common tools, templates, and methods.
• •Support commercial Value Stream transformation priorities for Outages through practical implementation of process improvements and standardization across the business.
• •Work globally across the Fossil, Nuclear, and Industrial segments to reinforce common process methods and improve commercial and ITO execution discipline for outage-related activity.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• •Significant experience in commercial operations, sales support, tendering, proposal management, ITO processes, quality, or process management.
• •Strong understanding of commercial and ITO processes, process governance, documentation discipline, and cross-functional operating models in a complex industrial or services environment.
• •Experience working in a matrix organization across commercial, operational, and functional teams.
• •Demonstrated ability to drive process discipline and improvement across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action management.
• •Strong communication skills with ability to operate effectively at both leadership and operating levels.
