Amazon Prime Air is developing a drone delivery system designed to safely deliver packages to customers in under an hour. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Outreach Coordinator to support the U.S. Regulatory Team by creating and executing on an aviation stakeholder engagement strategy as we scale drone delivery across the U.S. In this role, you will brief local aviation stakeholders on Prime Air operations, maintain organized records of your outreach, assist Sr. Regulatory Specialists in filings, and other miscellaneous team support.
- Key job responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to local aviation stakeholders and maintain organized stakeholder profiles
Coordinate and support stakeholder briefings, including scheduling, materials preparation, and action item tracking
Prepare, submit, and track regulatory filings with federal, state, and local agencies
Maintain the team's conference and industry event calendar
Monitor and report on regulatory readiness across Prime Air site launches
Maintain organized records of stakeholder databases, regulatory correspondence, and filing statuses
Provide general administrative and research support to senior specialists
Monitor FAA Federal Register and route relevant notices to senior regulatory specialists
- A day in the life
- Once a strategy is aligned on, you will connect with local aviation stakeholders, including airport managers, helipad operators, and flight school instructors, conducting outreach calls, building stakeholder profiles, and coordinating briefings that keep Prime Air's expansion plans on track. You will also be ensuring the team's regulatory machine stays on course; updating site launch tracking tools, preparing and submitting regulatory filings, maintaining records, and providing research and administrative support to senior specialists who are driving the future of drone delivery.
Basic qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or 4+ years of program or project management experience
- - Knowledge of project management tools and software
- - Experience with regulatory filings and reports or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- - Background in aviation, including experience as a pilot (private or commercial), air traffic controller, flight dispatcher, or aviation operations specialist
- - Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
- - Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- - Familiarity with FAA regulations, airspace classifications, or UAS (drone) regulatory frameworks
- - Knowledge of general AI tools
- - Experience working with government agencies or in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, telecommunications, healthcare)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
