The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM’s global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM’s global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.

At the GDC, you will:

  • Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates.

About the team:

The GDC People Services Team is a critical part of ERM’s global people operating model. The team works with HR Operations teams across regions to deliver HR transactions and people administration services that support employees and managers throughout the employment lifecycle.

The People Services team provides transactional support across key areas of HR administration, from hire to alumni, including onboarding, employee data management, contractual changes, benefits activities. The team responds to people process and policy queries, maintains accurate employee data, and provides a timely and professional service to support the business.

This role is a People Services Intern for Asia & ANZ, supporting the GDC HR Operations team in delivering high-quality HR administration and employee support across the Asia and ANZ regions. The role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience across HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, and shared services while working with a diverse, geographically distributed team.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the GDC HR Ops team to provide timely and accurate HR administrative support to ERM employees and Line Managers across Asia & ANZ.
  • Support the team in managing incoming HR queries through the ticketing system and assist in resolving requests using available knowledge resources and established processes.
  • Assist with employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employee changes, transfers, and terminations.
  • Support the hiring and pre-employment process, including preparation of HR documentation, coordination of pre-employment checks, and maintaining relevant trackers.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire data collection, initiation of onboarding journeys, and coordination of required documentation.
  • Support HR transactions in Workday and other systems under appropriate guidance and approval processes.
  • Assist with processing employee data and transaction changes, ensuring relevant information is accurately captured and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support HR processes such as absence management, family leave, employee documentation, and other people administration activities.
  • Prepare routine HR correspondence, letters, reports, and documentation as required.
  • Respond to employee and manager requests through email, Teams, and other approved channels in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive queries to the appropriate HR Operations team member, HR Advisor, Business Partner, or Centre of Excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee records and support regular data quality checks and audits.
  • Ensure HR trackers and process documentation are kept accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-training activities to develop knowledge of HR Operations and the employee lifecycle.
  • Support the People Services SME's and wider GDC HR Ops team in achieving operational goals and maintaining a high-quality employee experience
