Define hardware and software requirements that build our product prioritization and roadmap; including drive design, firmware, telemetry and support.

Develop high-quality content, patterns and practices targeting customer and internal stakeholders.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value and technical advantages of our products to internal and external audiences.

Develop hands-on prototypes and proof-of-concepts for customer solutions

Identify performance requirements and collaborate with engineering on hands-on execution of performance testing and optimization for customer use-cases

Leverage strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions despite incomplete information.

Maintain a clear vision and strategic direction while navigating uncertain conditions and executing on tactical needs.

Act as a technical expert and advocate for our product lines at industry conferences, seminars, webinars, and other public forums.

Mentor junior team members and help build a culture of technical excellence.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience.

8+ years of relevant experience in solution architecture, product management, engineering, or technical pre-sales, specifically within the field of data storage or related technologies.

Deep understanding of flash memory technologies, compute and storage hardware and software, networking, and data center architectures and standards.

Strong systems-thinking acumen and proven ability to quickly drive successful root cause analysis of technical issues across hardware and software domains.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing technical requirements.

Experience working with engineers, architects and leadership at large customers.

High proficiency with Linux system administration, scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar, and AI-driven development workflows

Experience with hyperscale compute and storage architectures is desirable.

Communication Skills: exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.

If you are a visionary leader with a passion for technology and a proven track record in driving product and customer success, we invite you to join our team and make a significant impact on the future of data storage solutions.
