Product Assurance Manager

Job Description:

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check)

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Minimal travel to Airbus sites and customer sites

LOCATION: Portsmouth - this role is mainly office and cleanroom based with only 1 day a week working from home

TYPE: Full time, STEM returners are welcomed

About the role....

We are looking for a Product Assurance Manager to join a small, collaborative, Assurance team who look after the Onesat programme . Onesat is the world's first software-defined satellite that can be fully reconfigured by different customers, including telecommunications, government and military customers.

The career progression for this role can be technical or Project Management

How you will contribute to the team…

• •Manage Non-Conformance Report and Non-Review Board (NCR/NRB) activity and coordinate customer engagement for major non-conformances
• •Support the whole product lifecycle from Kick-Off, to Test Review Board / Delivery Review Board
• •Coordinate and manage the Product Assurance Plan, Non Conformance Analysis and Consolidated Action Plan and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) key Business Deliverables such as Quality Plan Timing (when owner).
• •Ensure the communication and implementation of the customers requirements (including safety and reliability) throughout the company’s operational processes (develop, fulfil, support and source).
• •Collect, analyse, visualise and interpret the performance data, ideally with a focus on optimisation and automating the data reports

About you?

• •Product Assurance experience from a Space, Aerospace, RF or Digital equipment background
• •Self-motivation, autonomy and ability to work proactively
• •Lean / Six Sigma / APQP knowledge
• •Comfortable working within a fluid environment, with a lot of moving parts, happy to ask for support from the wider team
