About the Role:

The Product Director, End User Computing & Identity is accountable for the strategy, product direction, governance, and end-to-end lifecycle of Haleon’s workforce identity, access, endpoint, and virtual workplace capabilities. The role brings these services together as one integrated product portfolio, ensuring colleagues and partners can securely access the right applications, data, devices, and digital workspaces from the right location and at the right time.

The portfolio includes Active Directory, authentication and access services, joiner-mover-leaver enablement, privileged and conditional access integration, endpoint and mobile device management, standard device builds, application access and delivery, workplace security controls, virtual desktop and remote access services, and governance of workplace accessory policies. The role owns the product and technology lifecycle across these capabilities, from strategy and investment through design, engineering, adoption, service performance, modernisation, and retirement.

As Product Director, the role leads a multidisciplinary team of product, engineering, and service specialists and directs strategic partners. It works across Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Applications, HR, and business teams to deliver a coherent colleague experience, strengthen identity-led security, simplify the technology estate, and improve reliability, cost, and user experience at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

· Define and communicate the global vision, strategy, target architecture, roadmap, and investment priorities for Workplace Identity & End User Computing.

· Own the integrated product portfolio covering workforce identity, authentication, access, endpoints, device builds, application delivery, virtual desktops, and secure remote access.

· Provide end-to-end lifecycle ownership for Active Directory and cloud identity capabilities, ensuring resilient, scalable, and well-governed directory, authentication, federation, and access services.

· Partner with Cyber Security and application owners to embed identity-first and Zero Trust principles, including strong authentication, conditional access, least privilege, access recertification, and effective control of privileged access.

· Ensure identity and access services support efficient joiner, mover, and leaver journeys, role-based access, external-user access, and reliable integration with HR, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise applications.

· Own the endpoint and mobile product strategy and lifecycle across laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, shared devices, and specialist workplace endpoints, including procurement standards, enrolment, configuration, compliance, refresh, support, secure disposal, and oversight of workplace accessory policies and standards.

· Set the direction for modern endpoint management, standard device builds, operating system currency, patching, configuration, application packaging and deployment, endpoint security, and user experience.

· Own virtual desktop, application virtualisation, and remote access products, ensuring they provide secure, performant, and cost-effective access for employees, partners, specialist users, and regulated use cases.

· Create a seamless access experience across physical and virtual endpoints so that identity, device trust, application entitlement, and security policy operate as one coherent control framework.

· Maintain prioritised product roadmaps and backlogs, balancing colleague needs, security risk, regulatory obligations, resilience, technical debt, lifecycle exposure, cost, and strategic value.

· Define and track product outcomes and service measures covering user experience, adoption, access success, device compliance, service availability, security posture, lifecycle health, cost, and business value.

· Lead major modernisation, simplification, migration, and decommissioning initiatives across identity, endpoint, and virtual workplace technologies, with effective service transition and change adoption.

· Provide senior ownership of service health, major incidents, problem management, continuity, capacity, obsolescence, audit actions, and material risks across the portfolio.

· Manage strategic technology providers and delivery partners, setting clear outcomes and ensuring strong commercial control, licensing optimisation, performance, innovation, and accountability.

· Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team, establishing clear accountability, succession plans, capability development, and an inclusive product-led culture.

About You

· Deep understanding of enterprise identity services, including Active Directory, cloud identity, authentication, federation, conditional access, role-based access, privileged access, and identity governance integration.

· Strong understanding of modern endpoint management, device build and provisioning, operating system and application lifecycle, patching, configuration, compliance, and endpoint security.

· Experience leading virtual desktop, application delivery, and secure remote access capabilities in a global enterprise environment.

· Proven ability to bring identity, device trust, application entitlement, and access controls together into a coherent user experience and security model.

· Experience leading multidisciplinary internal teams and strategic partners, with accountability for people development, service performance, delivery quality, and organisational capability.

· Strong commercial, financial, and supplier-management capability, including investment prioritisation, contract performance, licensing, demand, capacity, and cost optimisation.

Preferred Qualifications:
