Position Summary

The Healthcare Education Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that drive growth, market adoption, and customer engagement across the portfolio. This role serves as the strategic link between product management, sales, marketing, partners, and customers by translating market insights into compelling positioning, go-to-market programs, and revenue-generating campaigns.

In this role, you will lead market intelligence efforts, product positioning, sales enablement, launch execution, thought leadership initiatives, and customer engagement programs while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. This role also oversees the customer buying journey and leverages data-driven insights to optimize marketing effectiveness and support long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop annual product and business unit marketing strategies that support growth objectives, market expansion, and revenue targets.
  • Lead planning, forecasting, and management of marketing investments and promotional budgets, ensuring strong return on investment.
  • Partner with product management, sales, and marketing leadership to align strategic priorities and business goals.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to proactively adjust marketing strategies and priorities.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Lead market research initiatives to identify market opportunities, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive threats.
  • Define and refine market segmentation, buyer personas, and decision-maker profiles to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Establish processes and tools to collect, analyze, and disseminate market and competitive intelligence across the organization.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on market insights, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of company products, solutions, differentiators, customers, and competitive offerings.
  • Create and continuously refine product messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and market alignment across all customer-facing communications and marketing materials.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches

  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions, and major marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, and strategic programs, ensuring alignment across product, sales, marketing, and partner teams.
  • Define routes to market, target audiences, sales motions, and launch success metrics.

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Collaborate with campaign team and central marketing channel experts on the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated, cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Align with product management, sales, central marketing and customer success teams to ensure effective campaign execution.
  • Drive lead generation, demand creation, and customer engagement programs that support business objectives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and implement continuous improvements to maximize results.

Data Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Establish and track key performance indicators, campaign metrics, and ROI measurements.
  • Analyze marketing performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and establish best practices across marketing programs.

Sales Enablement

  • Lead the development of sales enablement tools and resources that support revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Create and maintain sales playbooks, battle cards, competitive comparisons, presentations, product information documents, and other sales assets.
  • Partner with sales leadership and sales training colleagues to deliver product training and ensure teams have current market, product, and competitive intelligence.
  • Ensure sales and partner organizations are equipped with the right information at the right time throughout the sales cycle.

Customer Insights & Experience

  • Gather customer insights through direct engagement, including customer visits, industry events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
  • Use customer feedback and market intelligence to influence product development, messaging, and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee the customer journey from product positioning and value communication through purchase and ongoing engagement, ensuring a consistent and compelling customer experience.

Thought Leadership & Event Marketing

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives through the development of white papers, articles, blogs, case studies, presentations, and speaking engagements.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and partner programs.
  • Plan and support customer-facing events, webinars, conferences, and industry exhibitions to increase brand visibility and market presence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of product marketing, portfolio marketing, or strategic marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare or higher education sectors
  • Proven experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive intelligence, positioning, and customer segmentation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving product management, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience developing sales enablement programs and customer-facing content.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings and events outside of traditional business hours as required.

Compensation:

$98,500.00 - $172,700.00 USD

This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
