Purpose

Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.

Responsibilities

• •Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production status
• •Keep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores.
• •Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product.
• •Packages bags/rolls and keeps accurate counts in computer system
• •Helps the team give 10 and 20 minute breaks
• •Alerts Setup Techs to questions or concerns by utilizing white stack light
• •Assembles boxes
• •Performs quality control checks on product and labels
• •Stacks finished product
• •Help pick up scrap around his/her lines, including change-over rolls.
• •Throws away all labels from previous job
• •Keeps work area clean and clutter free; including tables, scales and floors
• •Weighs boxes and enters into the computer system
• •Pulls resin as needed
• •Weighs, packages and labels finished product
• •Might be used for training new person.
• •Works a 12-hour day, 4 days a week; every other weekend is mandatory
• •May be required to lift up to 35 pounds.
• •Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •Manufacturing experience preferred
