Role Summary:

Penta is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Production Designer to join our team. This hybrid role involves both design and production studio responsibilities, with a significant focus on ensuring the visual consistency and quality of client presentations, marketing materials, and various creative projects.

The Production Designer is expected to:

Collaborate with designers and creative directors to execute concepts within established design systems for client brands

Work on a variety of creative projects, including book layouts, icons and logos, t-shirts, postcards and invites, posters and ads, large format OOH, infographics, and templates across multiple programs

Ensure consistency in fonts, text placement, photo treatment, and overall visual quality in presentation decks ranging from 30 to 150 slides

Enhance client decks with visually interesting elements and rebuild data information and charts to improve presentation quality

Version out digital banners, print ads, and other files, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines

Rebuild files in the appropriate programs, checking for errors and ensuring correct setup.

Maintain major attention to detail, catching all edits and inconsistencies in client materials

Contribute to the revitalization of brands and help establish new design rules under the direction of senior designers

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience

2+ years of experience in a production design role, preferably within a creative agency or similar environment

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and presentation tools like Google Slides and Powerpoint

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency across various materials

Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design

The ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and independently manage tasks.

The ability to utilize AI and emerging technologies, where appropriate, to enhance efficiency, quality, and impact, while staying current on evolving capabilities and incorporating relevant innovations into day-to-day work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with data visualization and infographics is a plus

The ability to create HTML5 animations using Google Web Designer and GIF animations using Photoshop is highly preferred

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position will be $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on a candidate’s experience and qualifications as they relate to the position.

Location and Remote Schedule:

This position is for US-based personnel and is fully remote. Core hours for the role will be 11 am - 5 pm ET. Regardless of geolocation, everyone on the team is expected to work an eight hour day and be online during this window, excluding standard lunch and break times.
