Regional Marketing Manager - South Europe

Role Overview

· Regional Market Expert: Owns regional expertise on customers, applications, competitors, and market trends for Vishay’s capacitor portfolio in South Europe.

· Regional Alignment Lead: Leads divisional capacitor strategies into regionally executable Go-To-Market actions.

· Strategic Customer Interface: Acts as the technical-commercial representative of the capacitor divisions at key customers.

· New Business & Demand Driver: Identifies and structures new growth opportunities based on market and application insight.

Market & Customer Expertise

· Maintain deep understanding of customer applications, design requirements, and usage trends for capacitor technologies.

· Identify technology shifts and emerging demand and provide structured intelligence feedback to Divisions.

Lead Divisional Strategy into Regional Go-To-Markets

· Understand divisional roadmaps and strategic priorities and translate them into regional focus applications and target accounts.

· Build regional customer target plans and align Sales execution with divisional objectives.

Customer Interface & Strategic Positioning

· Conduct frequent customer engagements, including direct interaction with customer engineering teams.

· Support strategic opportunity positioning and design-in activities.

· Deliver competitive counter-strategies and differentiation messaging.

New Business & Demand Creation

· Identify new business opportunities.

· Support demand creation initiatives.

Product Requirements & Voice of Customer

· Propose and justify new product requirements to the divisions to support roadmap discussions.

· Translate customer and application needs into structured technical inputs for Divisions.

Sales Guidance & Cross-Functional Alignment

· Align with Sales and FAEs on opportunity prioritization

· Ensure communication between internal and external stakeholders

· Align engineering and commercial interfaces across the organization

· Support CRM transparency and opportunity tracking

Strategic Commercial Support

· Support contract negotiations as required

· Provide strategic pricing-positioning input

Requirements

· Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or comparable technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience can also be considered

· 3 years + of experience in the electronics industry; passive component experience preferred but not mandatory

· Experience working directly with customer engineering teams

· Experience working with distributors is a strong plus

· Proactive, structured, and independent working style

· Strong communication skills and business acumen

· Strong presentation skills

· Comfortable with MS Office and Sales Force

· Willingness to travel mainly within South Europe

· Fluent English is mandatory with good speaking and writing skills. Fluency in at least one of the regional languages (French, Spanish or Italian) is required.
