River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust.

The Residential Post-Closer & Lock Desk performs post-closing mortgage loan transactions, manages rate sheets and locks, and monitors secondary market loan purchases and sales, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

This role features a hybrid work model that blends in-office collaboration three days a week with the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions

• •Obtains closed loan packages from escrow agents. Completes post-closing file reviews to ensure data accuracy of loan file documentation, and follows up on missing, incomplete, or erroneous documents in a timely manner.
• •Prepares, delivers, and tracks loan notes, mortgages, and recordings.
• •Exports loan documentation images for all completed loan files to FIS Imaging Center .
• •Completes and ensures the integrity of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) data for all loan pipelines.
• •Maintains and distributes daily rate sheets for all loan channels and manages the internal pricing engine.
• •Confirms portfolio, correspondent, broker, and investor rate locks, extensions, and repricing.
• •Monitors correspondent pipeline. Imports and sets up loan files received for purchase.
• •Manages investor pipeline to ensure files are prepared and shipped within required timelines.
• •Receives and reconciles investor's purchase advice forms, processes purchase funding transactions and completes sales in the core system.

Qualifications, Experience, and Education

• •High school diploma required.
• •Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage operations.
• •Strong knowledge of secondary market lending, pricing, and rate locks .
• •Comprehensive understanding of mortgage closing, residential loan products, and post-closing file reviews across all channels.
• •Knowledge of federal/state regulations, investor guidelines, and bank policies related to mortgage lending.
• •Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• •Self-motivated and flexible to meet business needs.
• •Proficient in LOS, AUS, and standard office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
