Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly known as Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Risk Analyst to join our Property team in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Risk Analyst supports account teams by performing foundational risk analysis and delivering high-quality client service. This role develops core commercial insurance knowledge, analytical capabilities, and account servicing skills while contributing to client deliverables and team objectives. Working closely with Client Executives, Senior Brokers, Account Managers, and Senior Risk Analysts, the Risk Analyst serves as an entry point for career growth within the Risk Solutions organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Assist in compiling underwriting information and performing initial risk analysis to support coverage placement and loss forecasting.
  • Pull and organize claims data to support renewal preparation and client discussions.
  • Review insurance documentation, including policies, endorsements, and audits, for accuracy and assist in coordinating delivery to clients.
  • Respond to routine client and carrier service requests related to documentation, billing, certificates, and claims coordination.
  • Support Client Executives, Senior Brokers, Account Managers, and Senior Risk Analysts throughout the marketing process by preparing applications, submissions, proposals, and service materials.
  • Assist with renewal preparation activities, including gathering information, maintaining timelines, and coordinating deliverables.
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to build technical insurance knowledge and maintain licensing requirements.
  • Attend carrier meetings and industry functions as requested to develop industry knowledge and professional relationships.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in commercial insurance or a related business environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and follow through on assignments.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
