About the role

AGL’s Risk & Compliance team have a newly created opportunity for a Risk Business Partner.

Reporting into the Risk & Compliance Manager, you’ll partner with operational teams across Energy Assets, strengthening risk capability, support informed decision-making and embed consistent risk practices.

What you’ll be doing:

• •Partner with operational leaders and teams to identify, assess and manage risk
• •Facilitate risk workshops, assessments and reviews
• •Provide practical guidance on controls, treatments and risk actions
• •Support the quality of risk registers, reporting and governance processes
• •Coach teams and build confidence in applying risk frameworks and tools
• •Identify emerging issues and opportunities to improve how we manage risk
• •Regular travel to AGL’s operational assets and sites

What you’ll bring:

• •Experience in risk management, governance, assurance or operational improvement within a large or complex organisation
• •A practical understanding of risk assessment, controls, treatment planning and action tracking
• •Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder partnering skills
• •The ability to translate risk concepts into clear, operationally relevant guidance
• •Sound analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
• •Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure or another asset-intensive environment will be highly regarded
