- Qualifications
- 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school (Required)
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Work Experience
- 1+ years Nursing Experience (Preferred)
- Licenses and Certifications
- Required Certifications/Licensures:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license
- Essential Functions
- STANDARDS OF NURSING PRACTICE:
- Provide professional standards in practicing nursing.
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Identifies the expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives for expected outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan.
- Evaluates the progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE:
- Provide assistance to patients and visitors when administering care.
- Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
- Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Provides leadership in the professional practice setting.

- Uses correct terminology.
