This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Robotics Division, Proposal & Engineering Department in Italy.

Main stakeholders are:

  • Proposal Engineers
  • Mechanical Engineers
  • Electrical & Automation Engineers
  • Project Managers
  • Customers
  • System Integrators

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the development of customized robotic and automation solutions for industrial customers.
  • Evaluating software architectures, automation concepts and technical feasibility during both quotation and project execution phases.
  • Contributing to the software lifecycle including requirements definition, design review, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated robotic, mechanical and software solutions that meet customer requirements.

Our team dynamics

You will join a highly skilled and collaborative Engineering & Proposal team focused on the development of robotic automation systems for manufacturing, welding, material handling and industrial process applications.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar technical field.
  • Experience in industrial automation, robotics software, PLC programming, SCADA systems or manufacturing automation applications.
  • Good understanding of software architectures, industrial communication protocols and system integration concepts.
  • Experience with robot programming, simulation tools, industrial networks and automation platforms is considered a strong advantage.
  • Ability to evaluate technical solutions, software effort and project risks during the proposal and engineering phases.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving attitude and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent Italian and English.

Compensation Package

As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:

Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

Minimum annual salary: €39.000

Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
