Job Description Summary

The graduate assistant will provide research support to the Rural Student Success Initiative, which includes data collection and analysis, program evaluation research, and data synthesis.

Candidates should be familiar with drafting research articles for publication. The applicant's research focus should be in postsecondary access and preferably have an interest in rural students. Also, candidates must possess a sincere interest in expanding access for underserved youth from rural regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Research and collect data.

Conduct literature reviews.

Assist with data management and perform basic statistical analyses.

Develop assessment and evaluation tools.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to organize and multitask functions to ensure compliance with deadlines.

Understanding of IRB protocols and application procedures

Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills.

P roblem analysis and problem-solving skills.

Ability to use statistical software programs.
