RTR Accountant (Record-to-Report) - 12 months contract

Join FMC's Global Finance Team and help drive accurate financial reporting and accounting excellence across our international business. As an RTR Accountant, you will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• •Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• •Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances as required.
• •Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• •Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records within SAP.
• •Prepare and submit financial information for group consolidation and reporting.
• •Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local accounting requirements, SOX controls, and company policies.

Tax & Treasury Activities

• •Support accounting for income taxes, including monthly and quarterly tax accruals.
• •Perform treasury-related activities, including bank account reconciliations.
• •Assist with financial reporting requirements relating to tax and treasury processes.

Business Partnership & Process Improvement

• •Work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business to resolve accounting issues.
• •Respond to stakeholder requests in a timely and professional manner.
• •Contribute to process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• •Support the maintenance of process documentation and training materials.

What You'll Bring

Education & Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• •Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, CIMA or equivalent), or actively pursuing qualification, is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, or Record-to-Report activities.

Experience within a multinational company or shared services environment is desirable.

Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP.

Knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting processes.

Exposure to US GAAP accounting and accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) would be an advantage.
