Role Purpose

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for winning new business and consumer customers and growing profitable recurring revenue for CSMC’s remote monitoring, security, and life-safety services. This hunter-focused role requires proactive prospecting, including tele sales when required, consultative solution selling, and effective management of the full sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new B2B and B2C sales opportunities across target sectors, consumer markets, and multi-site customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through direct prospecting, tele sales, referrals, networking, events, lead follow-up, and collaboration with Chubb teams.
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and respond to inbound enquiries when required.
  • Conduct customer discovery meetings and site assessments to understand security, safety, operational, and compliance needs.
  • Develop tailored solutions covering alarm and fire monitoring, remote CCTV, virtual guard patrols, video verification, system-health monitoring, AED monitoring, and incident response.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, tenders, and commercial business cases.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement and qualification through negotiation, contract award, and operational handover.
  • Secure profitable recurring-revenue agreements within approved pricing, margin, risk, and contractual guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, sales activity, and forecasting information in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with operations, technical, service, projects, finance, legal, and other Chubb teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical and deliverable.
  • Monitor market and competitor developments and provide feedback on customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Comply with company standards, sales governance, data-protection requirements, confidentiality obligations, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B and B2C new business development, solution sales, tele sales, or account acquisition.
  • Experience in security, fire, monitoring, facilities, technology, or recurring-service solutions is preferred.
  • Strong prospecting, tele sales, consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Confident conducting outbound calls, handling customer enquiries, and converting leads into sales opportunities.
  • Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, contracts, and business-case development.
  • Ability to explain technical solutions clearly to consumers, operational stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, customer-engagement, CRM, sales-reporting, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, results-focused, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience with remote monitoring, CCTV analytics, video verification, alarm receiving centres, fire systems, IoT, guarding, or smart-building solutions is advantageous.
  • Experience selling to multi-site customers or managing tender opportunities is desirable.
  • An established network within relevant commercial sectors would be beneficial.
