Job Description Summary:

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating shipping activities, preparing shipment documentation, maintaining accurate order records, and communicating with shipping carriers.

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

Job Description:

Seasonal Duties

• •Print all pick list orders.
• •Assign shipping carriers based on the weight and destination of orders.
• •Create shipment labels, bills of lading, and manifests using courier software.
• •Communicate with shipment carriers.
• •Schedule delivery pickups.
• •Change the status of all open fulfillment orders in the database and attach tracking information.
• •Track orders to ensure timely deliveries.

General Job Duties

• •Perform data entry, including entering shipping and customer information into various web portals and business systems for the purpose of shipping and tracking customer orders.
• •Create bills of lading and carrier-specific shipping documents.
• •Create labels for the warehouse.
• •Order supplies.
• •File damage claims if necessary.
• •Assist with general duties in the warehouse as directed by management.
• •Communicate general and specific information to management as needed.
• •Organize company documentation following required recordkeeping procedures.
• •Adhere to all safety guidelines, good manufacturing practices, and company policies.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• •PC literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• •Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• •Good verbal and written communication skills.
• •Maintain good attendance.
