Senior AI Consultant, AI Trust & Governance

Make an impact with us

At PwC, you will help organisations build trust and deliver meaningful outcomes in a changing world. You will work in an inclusive and collaborative environment where diverse perspectives, continuous learning and responsible innovation are valued.

About the team

Our AI Trust team, within Assurance, helps organisations adopt and scale artificial intelligence responsibly, practically and sustainably.

We translate regulatory requirements, risk principles and responsible AI concepts into workable governance models, lifecycle processes and controls. Our goal is not governance for its own sake. We help clients use AI with confidence while managing risk throughout the AI lifecycle.

What your day will look like

You will work with multidisciplinary client teams across business, risk, technology, data, legal and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing practical AI governance structures, operating models, policies, processes and decision rights.
  • Identifying AI systems and use cases, assessing their risks and defining proportionate governance requirements.
  • Translating the EU AI Act and other relevant AI regulations into concrete actions, controls and documentation.
  • Assessing existing AI controls, identifying gaps and embedding controls throughout the AI lifecycle.
  • Conducting responsible AI and use case assessments covering transparency, human oversight, robustness, data governance, accountability, bias and explainability.
  • Supporting the responsible rollout of Copilot and other Generative AI solutions.
  • Helping clients turn complex AI risk and regulatory topics into clear guidance for business and technology teams.
  • Contributing to client conversations, thought leadership and the continued development of our AI Trust services.
  • Depending on your experience, you may also contribute to model validation, testing, monitoring, red teaming and AI assurance

What we will expect from you

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, AI governance, risk, technology, data, internal controls or digital transformation.
  • A Master's degree in Business Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
  • Practical knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, the EU AI Act and other relevant AI legislation.
  • Experience designing or assessing governance frameworks, risk management processes, controls or operating models.
  • Experience with AI, data, technology or digital risk, together with enough technical understanding to work confidently with technical teams.
  • The ability to take ownership of a defined workstream, structure ambiguous problems and turn analysis into clear recommendations and client ready deliverables.
  • A communicative, collaborative and results oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships, involve diverse perspectives and adapt your communication to different audiences.
  • A learning mindset and a willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to an inclusive team environment.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and/or French , with full professional proficiency in English .

Experience with Generative AI, foundation model risk, AI lifecycle controls, governance risk and compliance tooling, regulated industries or complex organisations is an advantage .

Relevant certifications, including AIGP, GARP Risk and AI or ISO IEC 42001 Lead Implementer , are also valued .

What you can expect from us

  • Challenging and meaningful work at the intersection of AI, regulation, risk and technology.
  • Ownership of high impact client work, supported by collaborative and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Continuous learning, mentorship and opportunities to deepen your AI Trust expertise.
  • Exposure to different clients, sectors and strategic technology solutions.
  • A flexible and inclusive environment where people are respected and encouraged to grow.
  • Opportunities to build trusted client relationships and help shape our evolving AI Trust services.

Ready to make a difference

This is not primarily a legal interpretation or AI development role. It connects AI technology, regulation, governance risk and organisational realities.

If you want to help organisations use AI confidently and responsibly, while developing your expertise in a supportive, ambitious and fast paced environment, we would like to hear from you.

PwC is committed to equal opportunities, diversity and respect. Recruitment data is handled in accordance with GDPR and applicable Belgian employment standards.
