ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Consulting Principal is the subject-matter lead on enterprise pharma and biotech pursuits. They pair with Account Executives to turn client business questions into data-driven solutions across claims, lab, specialty data, and technology platforms.
The role is consultative selling: framing the client's commercial problem, designing the solution, and showing the value of HealthVerity data before and after the sale. Senior Consulting Principals also contribute their expertise to shape HealthVerity's AI-enabled insights and trigger offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Opportunity scoping and solution design
Lead discovery and scoping with brand, commercial analytics, market access, and sales operations stakeholders. Translate business needs into data and analytic requirements.
Design solutions across HealthVerity's open and closed claims, lab, and specialty pharmacy data. This includes patient journey, market landscape, HCP targeting, payer/access, and launch tracking.
Assess feasibility and data fit early. Use counts, market landscapes, and AI-assisted analyses as "proof of data" during pre-sales.
Own the solution approach, deliverable specs, and pricing inputs for proposals and RFP responses. Partner with AEs, proposal, pricing, and contracts teams through the SOW process.
Present solutions to client stakeholders, lead technical and analytic Q&A, and hand off cleanly to client engagement and delivery teams.
Partner with Technology Principals to position HealthVerity's technology platform solutions alongside data offerings.
Account growth
Build account POVs and pre-call plans for priority accounts in an assigned book of business.
Identify upsell and expansion opportunities, including standard vs. expanded data comparisons, renewals, and new brand or therapeutic area entry points.
Develop case studies from successful engagements to support future pursuits.
Triggers and AI-enabled insights
Act as a subject-matter expert in designing patient- and HCP-level triggers and alerts. Define business rules such as market definition, line of therapy, switching, and lookback.
Use HealthVerity's AI tools to speed up feasibility, landscapes, and pre-call insights. Help validate outputs and build reusable playbooks.
Thought leadership
Contribute to webinars, POVs, and industry presentations that position HealthVerity as an insights partner, not just a data vendor.
QUALIFICATIONS

Proven ability to scope and sell analytic solutions to brand, commercial analytics, and market access buyers at mid-size and large pharma.
Expertise in one or more of: patient analytics, payer/market access, HCP targeting, or omnichannel/media.
