At Efficio, we are a specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy focused on delivering sustainable, measurable value for our clients. With a global presence across Europe, North America, and the Middle East, our diverse and growing team supports leading organizations on complex and high-impact programs.
We are currently looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our Riyadh office on a 12 month fixed-term contract. A strategic, hands-on and collaborative HR to support our growing business in Saudi Arabia. This is an opportunity to become a trusted adviser to senior leaders, managers and employees, and to turn business priorities into practical, people-focused solutions. You will combine strategic business partnering with hands-on delivery across employee relations, performance, organisational change, HR operations, government compliance, Saudi employment law and employee experience. The role is based in Riyadh, and the Senior Advisor is expected in the office three days per week.
As Senior HR Advisor, you will:
Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management:
Build trusted relationships with leaders, managers and employees in Saudi Arabia, acting as their first point of contact for people matters.
Translate business plans, workforce needs, organisational risks and local regulatory requirements, including Saudization requirements, into clear, practical people plans.
Coach managers through team dynamics, feedback, employee development and sensitive conversations.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Manage employee relations matters with sound judgement, appropriate documentation, confidentiality and consistency.
Provide practical guidance on Saudi Labour Law, its Implementing Regulations, relevant Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development requirements, company policy and HR best practice; engage Legal or external counsel where needed.
Support managers on performance, conduct, probation, grievance, leave and workplace-support matters.
HR Operations & Government Compliance:
Own end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding administration, employee contracts and documentation, background checks, absence and leave administration, and employee requests, letters and employment or salary verifications.
Manage Qiwa and GOSI requirements, including employee registration, government portal actions and other compliance matters.
Coordinate payroll-related HR administration with Finance and relevant payroll providers, ensuring accurate and timely employee data and documentation.
Maintain HRIS records and employee data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with local requirements.
Take ownership of these activities and ensure required actions are completed, working in coordination with our GRO, where relevant.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance and the global People team on workforce planning, talent, reward and organisational change initiatives.
Use people data and employee feedback to identify trends, mitigate risks and improve the employee experience.
Contribute to scalable policies, processes, manager guidance and local engagement initiatives across the Saudi Arabia business.
We’re looking for someone who has:
At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role with significant business-partnering responsibility.
Hands-on experience using Saudi government platforms, particularly Qiwa and GOSI, with the ability to manage related employee registration and compliance actions independently.
Working knowledge of Saudi employment law, its Implementing Regulations, local employment requirements and Saudization programmes, with the judgement to identify risk and seek specialist advice when appropriate.
Experience managing employee relations and advising managers on performance and sensitive people matters.
Strong stakeholder-management, coaching and communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and balancing strategic priorities with hands-on operational delivery.
Strong analytical skills and confidence using HRIS and people data.
Discreet, proactive and highly organised, with the ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
Is fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
