We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Digital Procurement and Process Excellence to take global ownership of our end-to-end source-to-pay processes, lead a highly competent team of process experts, project managers and business intelligence analysts, and drive the scouting and implementation of digital procurement solutions. Your Challenges
As our new Senior Manager, Digital Procurement and Process Excellence, you will play a key role in shaping and executing VELUX’s procurement process strategy. You will report to Director, Procurement Excellence & ESG, and be based depending on your location either in Østbirk, DK, or Warsaw, PL, working in a hybrid model. You will be leading a team of process experts, business analysts and project managers. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Global Procurement, IT, Procurement Operations, and Finance to drive process efficiencies, ensure compliance, and implement innovative digital solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Acting as Global Process Owner for the end-to-end source-to-pay processes, with overall accountability for global process governance, performance, compliance, standardization and continuous improvement
Leading a team of process experts responsible for designing, developing, implementing and continuously improving processes, standards and ways of working across master data, source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay
Driving process excellence across the organization by translating business requirements into effective, scalable and globally aligned procurement processes
Leading a team of business intelligence analysts responsible for defining procurement KPIs, developing and maintaining dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that support performance management and data-driven decision-making
Advancing procurement analytics capabilities, with a strong focus on ESG, performance, process indicators and opportunity analytics, as well as AI-powered solutions
Co-owning the strategy, governance and continuous development of existing procurement systems together with Sourcing Excellence, ensuring alignment across process, system and sourcing requirements
Taking hands-on responsibility for scouting, assessing and implementing new digital procurement systems and solutions, from requirements definition and business-case development through configuration, testing and deployment
Taking hands-on and overall responsibility for leading current procurement system implementation projects, including guided buying and intake orchestration, from requirements definition through testing, deployment and adoption
Acting as a key interface between Procurement and IT for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of procurement systems
Exploring emerging digital solutions for procurement analytics and operations, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, compliance and user experience
Managing key stakeholders and ensuring alignment across Global Procurement, Procurement Operations, Finance and IT
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
Minimum seven years of relevant experience in procurement, procurement excellence, process ownership, or a similar role, preferably gained within procurement consulting
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally in an international environment
Analytical mindset and conceptual thinking, with a problem-solving approach to process optimization.
Solid hands-on knowledge of procurement processes and systems; experience with procurement suites (e.g., Ariba, Coupa or similar) is a benefit but not requirement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
You should expect to travel within Europe approximately 25–50 days per year.
A bachelor’s degree from a university or business school
