Supervisory Responsibilities
Coordinate limited specialist support or contractors for systems or data tasks when agreed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Measurement standards and responsible claims
Turn Biblica’s theory of change and measurement framework into usable indicators, a data dictionary, field guidance and evidence requirements that can be applied consistently across regions and formats.
Specify transparent rules for counts, estimates, confidence levels and changes in definitions over time.
Oversee evidence records of Scripture resources released; exposure through print, broadcast or digital channels; Bible access realised; and meaningful engagement.
Advise the Senior Director on the evidence behind material internal and external claims; identifying cases where the proposed claim exceeds the available evidence.
Systems, reporting and decision support
Review and finalize data flow mapping, source ownership, and reporting schedules.
Where necessary, and in coordination with system owners, design and improve templates, validation checks, documentation and repeatable reporting processes using appropriate existing tools.
Own the quality standards for agreed leadership dashboards. Supervise their routine production and clarify definitions and caveats for decision makers.
Work with colleagues to assess whether approved AI-assisted tools can help with routine checking, documentation or reporting, with human review and information-security requirements in place.
Implementation, safety and learning
Work with regional teams to choose reporting and evaluation methods Biblica and our partners can use safely in restricted or low-connectivity settings.
Stress-test new access and priority disaggregation with a sample of major reach-contributing partners.
Lead a phased Africa pilot with regional staff and selected partners. Establish common core measures while adapting methods to the barriers, safety conditions in each setting, and modest project M&E budgets.
Use the Africa pilot and partner tests to revise the measures, then agree a global rollout with the Senior Director for Impact
Train and coach regional reporting colleagues and partners to use agreed definitions and tools, consulting Regional Directors on practical delivery requirements.
Facilitate regular inter-departmental reviews that connect evidence to decisions about access barriers, format and program needs, partner support and engagement approaches.
Monitor and evaluate potential changes to what data is necessary and safe to collect, retain and share.
Coordinate with planned Research Manager so routine reporting informs deeper research questions and research findings improve the measurement system.
General
Participate in daily prayer and staff gatherings on a regular basis and contribute to Biblica’s collaborative ministry culture.

Required Skills and Abilities
Strong technical knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems, including methodologies, indicator design, data quality, and evidence strength.

Able to work through challenges, such as conflicting partner figures, missing data and changing project circumstances.
Ability to identify risk and assess when to seek specialist safeguarding, security or data protection advice.
Clear written and verbal communication; confidence to explain uncertainty, challenge an unsupported claim constructively and present useful findings to senior leaders.
Good judgement, cultural humility and the ability to coach staff and partners across regions and time zones while prioritising competing demands.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (essential). Evidence of relevant post-graduate studies (preferred).
Substantial experience (5 years or more) designing or improving impact measurement or program reporting systems in an international non-profit, faith-based or comparable partner-led setting.
