  • provide advice on higher education regulatory frameworks, including the Higher Education Standards Framework and AQF
  • oversee compliance monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • lead and develop a small team, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring effective service delivery

About you

You are a diligent, analytical and solutions-focused professional who brings experience in policy development, regulatory compliance, governance or a related field. You are comfortable interpreting complex legislative requirements, translating them into practical policies and processes, and working collaboratively with stakeholders across a large and complex organisation.

  • ability to interpret and apply legislation, regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • experience in governance, risk management and regulatory compliance
  • strong analytical skills and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • experience leading and developing a small team
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and policy documentation
  • strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
