Drive meaningful change. Lead complex initiatives. Deliver results.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives on turning complex business challenges into successful outcomes. In this role, you'll lead multiple cross-functional initiatives, partnering with business and technology leaders to deliver solutions that advance OneMain Financial's strategic and operational objectives.
You'll have the opportunity to work across the organization, tackle diverse challenges, and influence how we deliver meaningful change. The ideal candidate brings a combination of structured project management, adaptability, curiosity, and a collaborative leadership style—with the confidence to take ownership and the creativity to find a better way forward.
In the Role
- Lead initiatives that matter. Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, technology-enabled projects, translating business objectives into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Connect people and priorities. Bring together cross-functional teams, business leaders, technology partners, and external vendors to align on goals, drive decisions, and maintain momentum.
- Navigate complexity with confidence. Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adapt to evolving priorities while keeping projects focused on successful delivery.
- Drive accountability and execution. Establish clear plans, milestones, and expectations, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring teams deliver on commitments.
- Communicate with impact. Provide stakeholders and senior leaders with clear, actionable insights into project progress, key decisions, risks, and opportunities.
- Elevate the team. Share expertise, mentor less experienced colleagues, and contribute to continuously improving how projects are managed and delivered.
What You'll Bring
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including leading technology-focused projects.
- PMP certification or relevant OneMain Financial experience.
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Capabilities That Set You Apart
- Leadership through influence: You build relationships, create alignment, and inspire action across teams without relying on formal authority.
- Strategic thinking and execution: You connect the big picture to the details, balancing business objectives with practical delivery considerations.
- Adaptability and problem-solving: You're comfortable navigating ambiguity, adjusting to changing circumstances, and finding creative solutions to obstacles.
- Communication that drives action: You can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex information into clear messages and decisions.
- Ownership and initiative: You work independently, anticipate what comes next, and take accountability for delivering results.
- Collaboration and organization: You bring structure to complex work, manage multiple priorities, and help teams perform at their best.
