Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Sr. Revenue Integrity Analyst – Provider Education

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), Revenue Integrity is essential to ensuring accurate reimbursement, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient care experience. The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst serves as a trusted partner to physicians, operational leaders, and revenue cycle teams, driving provider engagement, education, and process improvement initiatives that strengthen coding accuracy and revenue performance across the enterprise.

Role Overview

Serve as the go-to Revenue Integrity resource for providers in Department of Medicine, Department of Surgery or Ancillary Services, helping troubleshoot revenue-related issues, clarify billing and coding questions, and identify opportunities to improve workflows.

Build strong collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, administrative leaders, and operational teams to support compliant documentation, coding, and billing practices.

Develop and deliver provider-focused education programs on coding updates, documentation requirements, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory changes.

Lead one-on-one and group training sessions, translating complex coding and billing concepts into actionable guidance for clinical stakeholders.

Analyze provider-level trends, audit findings, charge capture opportunities, and reimbursement patterns to identify areas for improvement.

Conduct root cause analyses of coding, billing, and charge capture discrepancies and partner with stakeholders to implement sustainable corrective actions.

Review revenue integrity, compliance, and operational data to identify documentation gaps, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimize revenue outcomes.

Represent Revenue Integrity in multidisciplinary meetings, presenting findings, recommendations, and action plans to physician and executive leadership.

Collaborate with Coding, Billing, HIM, Finance, Compliance, and Operational teams to support strategic initiatives, regulatory readiness, and continuous process improvement efforts.

Key Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare coding, billing, revenue integrity, revenue cycle operations, or related disciplines.

Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, documentation requirements, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.

Professional certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, RHIT, RHIA, or equivalent credential strongly preferred.

Experience presenting to physicians, clinical leadership, and executive stakeholders in a healthcare setting.

Demonstrated success leading education, audit review, compliance, or process improvement initiatives that resulted in measurable operational outcomes.

Core Skills

Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence, educate, and build credibility with physicians, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to deliver impactful provider education and training programs.

Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Excellent relationship-building capabilities with a customer-focused approach to stakeholder engagement and problem resolution.

Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments, manage competing priorities, and drive change through collaboration and influence.

Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday

Location: Hybrid; Primary remote with on site as needed at 633 Third Avenue, New York, NY
