Purpose:
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Infrastructure R&D team, you will lead development of high‑performance, on‑device medical software applications that securely connect to cloud for telemetry, command & control, remote diagnostics, and over‑the‑air updates. You will collaborate closely with a multi-functional team of systems, hardware, firmware, quality, and regulatory partners to deliver safe, reliable, and scalable software that directly impacts patient outcomes.
You will be responsible for:
Build production‑grade on‑device applications and services in C#/.NET for Windows targets, integrating with clinical applications, local and cloud services.
Experience with relational databases and embedded databases such as SQLite, including schema design, data modeling, and data normalization. Strong proficiency in writing, optimizing, and debugging SQL queries.
Develop concurrent, multi‑threaded components and services using REST APIs and databases, with an architecture that supports evolution and versioning.
Design and implement secure device‑to‑cloud connectivity using modern, secure technologies like IoT, authenticated APIs.
Use secure coding principles to ensure cybersecurity and patient safety with appropriate technologies and cybersecurity processes. Examples: X.509 device identity, mutual TLS, certificate rotation, secure storage (e.g., integration with Key Vault), threat modeling, and least‑privilege access.

Drive software quality through unit/integration/system tests (including hardware‑in‑the‑loop), profiling, observability (structured logging, metrics, traces), and CI/CD integration.
Contribute to regulatory documentation, traceability, and V&V aligned with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, and related guidance; support submissions (e.g., FDA 510(k)) as needed.
Collaborate in Agile/Scrum workflows, mentor junior engineers, and lead design/code reviews to sustain long‑term maintainability.
