What you’ll own

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Test Engineer / QA Automation Lead with 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Java, and C# , with a proven track record of building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions while ensuring high-quality software delivery across web-based applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright .
• •Create and execute automated test scripts using Java and C# .
• •Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with business requirements.
• •Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• •Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
• •Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback during design discussions.
• •Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• •Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
• •Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices across teams.
• •Drive continuous improvement in automation coverage, execution efficiency, and release quality.
• •Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and processes.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a candidate with 7+ years of strong backend testing experience , with a primary focus on backend systems rather than UI testing. You may also consider updating the JD to emphasize the following key skills and hands-on experience:

• •API Test Automation using Cucumber BDD, Karate , and other modern automation frameworks
