Job Requirements

• •Analyzes and designs technical solutions to solve business problems.
• •Provides support and oversight of Technical Specialists’ work.
• •Provides input and support for planning and cost estimates for current or proposed projects.
• •Delivers technical initiatives.
• •Participates in technical evaluation, vendor management and standard setting processes.
• •Provides highest internal support and maintenance for assigned technology (Level 3).
• •Creates and maintains technical documentation required for operation and support for assigned technology.
• •Participates in life cycle planning including recommending upgrades, deployments, and retirements.
• •Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.

Competencies

• •Ability to participate in the definition of technical environment including, standards, methodologies and processes.
• •Strong written and oral communication skills.
• •Ability to define quality assurance and testing protocol.
• •Ability to develop and deliver solution while providing direction, oversight and support.
• •Maintains highest level of competence and/or certification in specific technical areas.
• •Ability to work within a team environment and provide guidance and support to other technical professionals.

Education/Experience

University degree or equivalent experience in related technologies required 7 – 10+ years experience in technical area with demonstrated competence as technical specialist Maintains highest levels of certification in specialty area
