Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Manager to join BP. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, liaising with SKK Migas, managing supplier relationships, and driving value across various spend categories.

Job Responsibilities:

• •Ensuring the tenders or sourcing and contracting activities are performed and also, ensure the tender strategies, tender documentation and tender decisions are in compliance with and based on the prevailing PTK 007 and local regulation
• •Lead the development and implementation of category-specific sourcing strategies, utilizing analytical thinking and market intelligence.
• •Conduct comprehensive category spend profiling and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
• •Perform thorough business requirements analysis to ensure sourcing solutions align with internal stakeholder needs.
• •Manage the end-to-end negotiation process, including planning, preparation, and execution, to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• •Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and driving performance improvements.
• •Leverage agility core practices and tools to optimize sourcing processes and respond effectively to market changes.
• •Utilize digital fluency to enhance sourcing efficiency and decision-making through data analysis and technology.
• •Monitor product and market intelligence to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within assigned categories.
• •Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure successful implementation of sourcing initiatives.
• •Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance.

Job Qualifications:

• •Proven experience as a Sourcing Manager, Tender Chairperson or in a similar procurement role.
• •Has a valid PTK007 certification and has experience in performing the role of Procurement Committee Chairperson for a Cost Recovery Production Sharing Contract (PSC) Contractor in exploitation stage.
• •Demonstrated proficiency in Agility core practices and relevant Agility tools.
• •Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• •Strong experience in Business Requirements Analysis and translating business needs into sourcing strategies.
• •Expertise in Category spend profiling and developing comprehensive Category Strategies.
• •Highly developed Negotiating skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• •Proficient in Negotiation planning and preparation techniques.
• •Solid understanding of Product and market intelligence.
• •Excellent Supplier Relationship Management capabilities.
• •Strong Digital Fluency, including experience with relevant procurement technologies and data analysis tools.
• •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
