#### Your Tasks

  • Hypervelocity impact analyses for spacecraft missions
  • Support to shielding design activities and associated modelling
  • Development, validation, and application of next-generation MMOD methodologies
  • Support to vulnerability and risk assessment activities
  • Contribution to internal and external R&D programmes
  • Support the evolution of DarKnight 2.0 capabilities
  • Contribution to future ESA studies, customer projects, and standardisation activities
  • Support proposal preparation and technical discussions with customers and agencies
  • Participation in scientific conferences, workshops, and the broader space debris community

#### Your Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Scientific programming skills are required, Python is the preferred language
  • Knowledge of space debris modelling is considered an asset
  • Interest in spacecraft environment engineering and related disciplines
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a wide variety of technical topics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in English as a working language, both spoken and written
