Job Title:

Specialist, UX Designer

Job Description:

The Role:

Our site in Pune, India is seeking a Mid-Level UX Designer to join our team.

This person will work on a newly formed team that is helping shape the future of digital tools and platforms at Entegris.

You’ll work directly with highly technical and operationally savvy partners — engineers, scientists, operations leader, business leaders — to design intuitive, effective experiences that improve complex operational workflows, support R&D innovation efforts, empowering users throughout the ecosystem, from the shop floor to executives, to do their best work.

This is a hands-on role for someone who brings strong product thinking, thrives in complexity, and is excited to help build a new design practice from the ground up. As part of a newly forming Human-Centered Design team, you’ll play an active part in establishing lightweight processes and best practices that enable high-impact outcomes within a lean, fast-moving environment. This is an ideal role for someone excited to help build not just great solutions — but a great design and research culture.

What You’ll Do:

Own delivery for UX design for one or more product teams

Develop user-centered solutions for AI-enabled tools, determining how emerging AI patterns support operational workflows.

Collaborate with Human-Centered Design Leadership and cross-functional partners (engineers, scientists, operations and business leaders) to understand business processes, identify opportunities to improve workflows, and design effective digital tools.

Conduct research and create end-to-end design artifacts, including journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and annotated specs.

Frame and communicate design rationale to developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.

Work closely with product teams to bring concepts to life and ensure usability and consistency.

Participate in user validation, iteration, and team ceremonies throughout the product development cycle.

Help shape our AI-forward design pipeline

Help shape our Design System by designing/establishing new components and patterns to meet business needs, coordinating with our software engineering team in Pune, India

What We Seek:

A systems thinker who understands complex ecosystems and designs purposeful, efficient solutions.

A self-starter who brings clarity to ambiguity and moves work forward confidently.

A team member invested in continuous learning, with an AI-forward design/development mindset.

A team member who is:

Energized by working at the intersection of AI, advanced technology, and human-centered design.

Excited to help shape how design integrates into a fast-evolving, high-growth digital organization.

Excited to play an active role in growing our Human-Centered Design practice.

Strong in communication and committed to continuous learning.

Comfortable working with agile teams.

Curious about data, systems, and business context.

Skilled at documenting features, workflows, and user needs.

Able to align user experience with technical feasibility and business priorities.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

3-5 years of UX design experience, with a portfolio showcasing complex workflows, systems thinking, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Specifics: You don’t need to check every box, but you should bring strong experience in many of these areas and a willingness to grow into the rest.
