Senior Director, Treasury
- About the Role
- TD SYNNEX is seeking a Senior Director, Treasury to lead core treasury operations across cash, liquidity, debt, and foreign exchange. In this visible, impact-driven role, you will own daily cash positioning, short-term borrowing and investing, and cash flow forecasting while strengthening our global bank relationships and optimizing working capital. You’ll design and implement cash management strategies, evaluate technologies, and oversee risk management practices that safeguard our balance sheet and support growth. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and business leaders to ensure resilient liquidity, disciplined risk management, and policy compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, short-term borrowing, and deployment of excess cash.
- Own cash flow forecasting and variance analysis; deliver timely, accurate liquidity reporting and insights to leadership.
- Manage and cultivate banking relationships; negotiate services and fees, drive service-level excellence, and oversee KYC and account administration.
- Oversee letters of credit, guarantees, and trade finance instruments; ensure timely issuance, renewals, and compliance.
- Assess and manage foreign exchange exposures; develop and execute hedging strategies aligned to policy; monitor hedge effectiveness.
- Oversee interest rate risk management, evaluate debt portfolio positioning, and recommend hedging or refinancing strategies as needed.
- Design and implement cash management processes and services; champion automation and TMS utilization to improve control and efficiency.
- Evaluate treasury products, services, and systems; recommend and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and policy compliance (including SOX, audit support, and regulatory requirements).
- Establish and track treasury KPIs and dashboards; communicate performance and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Lead and coach team members; promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support treasury and broader finance initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required; CTP or CPA preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive corporate treasury or finance experience, including cash management, liquidity, and bank relationship management.
- Hands-on experience with cash forecasting, working capital optimization, letters of credit/trade finance, and foreign exchange/hedging.
- Knowledge of interest rate risk, debt instruments, and short-term investments.
- Proficiency with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and ERPs; strong Excel and analytical skills; familiarity with tools such as Kyriba, SAP, or Oracle is a plus.
- Proven leadership and team management experience; ability to influence cross-functionally and negotiate effectively.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and sound judgment; thrives in deadline-driven environments.
