the posting

Ever wondered if the money a company invests actually works? In this role, you'll be the one who answers that question — and your findings will directly shape how one of the world's largest marketplaces allocates resources to grow.

You'll join a high-visibility finance team that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, evaluating investment programs from business case all the way through real-world results. This is not a reporting role — you'll be expected to have opinions, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions at the senior leadership level.

Key job responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

  • -Building investment evaluation frameworks that connect business actions (seller growth, selection expansion, promotional activity) to financial outcomes (revenue, margin, efficiency) — and tracking whether the connection holds in practice
  • -Developing ROI models with clear pre-deployment thresholds, success metrics, and kill criteria so the team can make fast, disciplined capital allocation decisions
  • -Running a regular investment governance cadence — synthesizing performance signals across a multi-million dollar portfolio and delivering sharp recommendations to senior leadership
  • -Partnering with business, operations, and marketing teams to align on assumptions and hold everyone accountable to shared targets
  • -Identifying what's not working and making the case to reallocate or shut it down — portfolio discipline is as important as finding new opportunities
  • About the team

  • Work Life Balance
  • We believe striking the right balance between your personal and professional life is critical to life-long happiness and fulfillment. We offer flexibility in working hours and encourage you to find your own balance between your work and personal lives.
  • Mentorship & Career Growth
  • Our team is dedicated to supporting new members. We have a broad mix of experience levels and tenures, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship. We care about your career growth and strive to assign projects based on what will help each team member develop into a better-rounded professional.
