Overview
Seeking a technical professional with strong credentials in Systems Engineering and Cyber Security. You will have the unique opportunity to be part of a team, solving complex problems in a DEVOPS environment.
Responsibilities
Provides technical expertise to design, build, configure, and maintain information systems
Support systems engineering activities in Windows and Linux environments
Make recommendations based on knowledge of customer requirements and industry best practices
Collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic DevOps environment
Assume lead on assigned projects
Create and maintain technical documentation
Responsible for providing purchase justifications and project benefit analysis
Forecasts costs for project related equipment and software
Requirements
5+ years of practical, service-oriented experience in the IT field
Active USG TS SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph
Have working knowledge and experience with ICD 503, NIST 800-53r4/5 controls, NIST 800-171R2, NIST Risk Management Framework, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM 2.2
Experience in performing a wide variety of security tasks to include vulnerability scanning, compliance audits, and IT security program management support activities
Extensive experience with USG Assessment and Authorization process
Ability to build environments utilizing Windows and Linux products
Ability to resolve difficult technical issues including those across multiple operating systems
Strong foundation using cyber security tools, applications, and enterprise-wide services such as, vSphere, Active Directory Administration, SSSD, IIS, Windows Firewall/ Firewalld, Certificate Authority, WSUS, Yum/Satellite
Familiarity with network storage
Experience evaluating the security controls of complex networks and systems
Experience automating routine administrative tasks
Capable of writing proposals, procedures, and technical documentation
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Team player who can also work independently and has the ability to thrive in an environment that changes often
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related STEM field
Recommended Qualifications
Security Certification (such as Security+, CISSP)
Technical certifications (such as RHEL or Microsoft)
Some experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS configuration
Ability to program in an administrative language (Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, and more)
Understanding of Esri software including ArcGIS, ArcInfo, ArcView, and ArcSDE

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$81,120 — $166,400 USD
