Job Description:

  • The Surgical Services Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who performs a variety of technical and supportive duties to assist the surgical team during the patient’s perioperative phase of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.Education:
  • ▪ Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience:
  • ▪ Preferred : Previous hospital and/or medical experience
  • Skills:
  • ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ▪ Exhibits valuable time management skills
  • ▪ Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • ▪ Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • ▪ Required: N/A
