Job Summary

The University of Austin seeks a relational, highly organized, and proactive Coordinator to support its Talent Network and broader Community Relations initiatives. This full-time role in the Student Life & Community department offers room for creativity and professional growth in a fast-paced, growing university.

The Talent Network connects UATX students with professionals, companies, foundations, think tanks, graduate programs, and other organizations offering mentorship, internships, jobs, fellowships, site visits, and career exposure. The Coordinator will act as the bridge between students and these partners, managing the systems, data, and follow-through that turn opportunities into results, while also supporting programs such as the Parents Program, major events, and commencement.

The ideal candidate pairs relational warmth with operational discipline, becoming a trusted resource for students and a valued representative to partners, and freeing the Vice President to focus on new partnerships and expanding the network.

Steward opportunities from introduction through completion, collecting student feedback and tracking participation, placements, and impact.

Support events, site visits, Brown Bag Lunch & Learns, mentorship initiatives, and communications to members, including newsletters, invitations, and follow-up.

Build strong relationships with students and assist with resume reviews and professional comportment.

Community Relations
