Position Summary

Evolution Motion Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative to focus exclusively on the steel industry in Northern Arkansas. This role will be responsible for developing and growing relationships within steel manufacturing facilities by identifying opportunities to improve plant reliability, reduce downtime, increase productivity, and support maintenance operations.

The ideal candidate has experience working within steel mills or selling industrial products and solutions to the steel industry. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to maintenance, engineering, operations, reliability, and purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• •Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for assigned steel mills.
• •Build strong relationships with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, operations leaders, plant managers, and procurement personnel.
• •Identify opportunities for Evolution Motion Solutions' products and services across maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) applications.
• •Sell and support products including fluid power, automation, conveyor components, industrial supplies, and reliability solutions.
• •Sell and support service projects related to steel mill operations and plant applications.
• •Conduct plant audits, equipment assessments, and technical reviews to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
• •Generate new business while expanding existing customer partnerships.
• •Partner with supplier representatives, internal technical resources, and third party contractors to deliver value-added solutions.
• •Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and sales activity reporting.
• •Represent Evolution Motion Solutions at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications

Required

• •3+ years of industrial outside sales experience.
• •Experience calling on steel mills, heavy manufacturing, metals, mining, paper, or other industrial processing facilities.
• •Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills.
• •Proven ability to manage a territory and grow customer relationships.
• •Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• •Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory

Preferred

• •Existing relationships within steel manufacturing facilities.
• •Experience selling industrial distribution, bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, lubrication, or reliability solutions.
• •Knowledge of maintenance and reliability practices within heavy industry.
• •Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• •Strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience supporting Nucor, Big River Steel, Hybar, CMC, Liberty Steel, or other steel manufacturing operations in Arkansas and the surrounding region.
