Job Summary

As the Technology Solutions Manager you will advise/consult, guide and design the systems and infrastructure within which our Company’s staff operate each day by working directly with leadership stakeholders at all levels. You will also administer/lead the sprint-based program that drives the prioritized development projects for PuzzleHR’s internal and vendor-supplied systems. Your broad-based technology skills will be used to distill current and future needs from stakeholder meetings/observations and research and recommend scaled solutions

Job Duties

• •Consult with business leader stakeholders to maintain understanding of current and future needs based on business direction.
• •Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, business unit colleagues and vendors to architect effective solutions.
• •Act as a primary liaison with key company vendors to shape the relationship and optimize our use of their provided solutions.
• •Assist with the Administration/management of the Agile Sprint program to include leading the cross-functional team and tracking/reporting results of each sprint. This program guides the work of our engineer technologists in the areas of software development and data analysis/reporting.
• •Identify process improvement opportunities.
• •Consult with and guide Technologists in need of solution ideas, specific technology knowledge and/or bigger picture systems perspective.
• •Leverage reporting/analytics tools to manage internal systems.
• •Participate in Company policy creation and maintenance and our SOC 2 compliance activities.
• •Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, industry trends, developments, and best practices that improve the Company’s ability to serve our client base and markets.
• •Participate in the handling/resolution of tickets related to the abovementioned supported areas and others as required.

Required Skills

• •Broad-based technology knowledge in areas including but not limited to database structure/design, development, ITSM support programs, agile process, IT support systems, cyber security and A.I.
• •Ability to meet with business unit leaders to discover needs and then innovate creative solutions to business problems.
• •Systems and design thinking proficiency.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Proven ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations in agile environment.
• •Self-driven life-long learner focused on advancing personal skills and abilities.
• •Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• •Ability to work successfully independently and in a team setting.

Education and Experience

• •Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications/experience in a relevant technology field required.
• •Certifications for job-relevant technologies are preferred.
• •Knowledge of and/or experience in relevant technology languages (SQL, VB, Python, PowerShell etc.) preferred.
• •Experience with automation software and AI technology.
• •Experience designing and developing APIs preferred.

Physical Requirements

• •Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• •Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times.
• •Must be able to participate in video conferences/meetings.
