We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Sr. Motion Designer to join our Creative Studio team. In this role, you'll create high-quality, on-brand creative by executing against established art direction and client brand guidelines, with a primary focus on Amazon and e-commerce creative.

This is a temp position requiring availability during standard business hours to support collaboration, project communication, and team workflows.

Hours will vary 0-25 hours per week

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Contract Senior Motion Designer at Global Overview (GO), you will play a key role in conceptualizing, storyboarding, designing, and producing video content for our clients. You’ll combine strong visual design, advanced motion graphics skills, and with AI-powered video tools to produce on-brand content that is fast, polished, and built for Amazon and retail media placements.

This is a hands-on creative role. You’ll work closely with GO Studio’s creative and strategy teams to develop on-brand video content, and you’ll help us find better ways to produce it faster and with higher quality.

Responsibilities

• •Conceptualize, develop storyboards, animatics, and visual concepts that turn creative briefs and scripts into compelling narratives, working independently from concept through delivery
• •Produce short-form video (15 to 30 seconds) that meets Amazon and retail media specs, including captions, sound, and aspect ratio variations
• •Generate and direct AI video, including image-to-video, keeping product, characters, and style consistent across shots, and cleaning up artifacts in post
• •Animate typography, graphics, and layouts with strong composition and visual hierarchy
• •Share work in progress at agreed check-in points and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders through several rounds of revisions
• •Manage multiple projects at once while keeping to production timelines, tracking work in Asana

Knowledge/Skills

• •Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, and Photoshop (working knowledge of Illustrator a plus)
• •Strong motion design skills, including type animation, compositing, and visual effects
• •Solid graphic design foundation in typography, layout, color, and composition
• •Hands-on experience directing AI video and image tools, such as Veo, Kling, Runway, Adobe Firefly, or Amazon Creative Agent
• •Familiarity with both live-action and animated production workflows
• •Experience with branded video for advertising, online, and social media
• •Sound design and music selection experience, including licensed music and audio mixing is a plu

Requirements

• •5+ years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or animation
• •Proven experience leading video projects from concept and storyboard through final delivery
• •Portfolio that shows finished video work and storyboards or concept development and AI-generated or AI-assisted video projects
• •Experience with Amazon advertising, retail media, or e-commerce video, including Amazon video specs is preferred
• •Comfort with fast turnarounds and clear, proactive communication
• •Availability for reviews and feedback during Pacific time business hours
