This position reports to:

Transport Management Center Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Acting as point of contact for customs brokers in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products).
Coordinating shipments scheduling and tracking.
Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
Managing logistic contractors and the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelors Degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics or similar
3 + years experience in International logistics, Customs activities and coordination of logistics contractors
Knowledge of Import and Export processes and customs legislation, Incoterms, regulation knowledge, Anex 24, 22, IMMEX.MS
Office and Excel experience
**Advanced English required**
SAP experience
