• In this role, you will bridge the gap between English and Arabic by adapting creative concepts, in-app messaging, push notifications, and marketing campaigns into natural, culturally resonant, and punchy everyday Arabic (and vice versa).

Responsibilities

Translate app keys and menus, supporting broader content localization needs.

Translate and rewrite marketing copy, app text, promo campaigns, and push notifications from English to Arabic , using cultural relevance rather than literal conversion.

Adapt messaging using authentic, conversational local dialects and modern everyday slang that immediately resonates with our target audience.

Review and proofread all live and upcoming copy to eliminate stiff, overly academic phrasing, grammar errors, or awkward translations.

Maintain Toters’ distinct, lively, and approachable brand personality across all platforms, interfaces, and customer touchpoints.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Creative Writing, Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Fluent in both English and Arabic (written, spoken, and comprehension), with the ability to write polished, natural copy in both languages from scratch.

Exceptional fluency in both Arabic and English, with a strong intuitive grasp of tone, humor, idiom, and cadence in both languages.

At least 2+ years of experience in copywriting, creative transcreation, social media content, or marketing localization (agency or startup background preferred).

A demonstrated track record of creative writing , localized ad copy, or consumer-facing content samples.

Ability to move fast, meet tight deadlines, and iterate quickly in a high-volume startup environment.
