Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• •Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• •Evaluate and manage patients with vascular diseases including peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms, venous disorders, and dialysis access conditions.
• •Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient management.
• •First assist in vascular surgical procedures as applicable and credentialed.
• •Perform hospital rounds, consultations, discharge planning, and follow-up care.
• •Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests, laboratory results, and imaging studies.
• •Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• •Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, surgical procedures, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• •Document clinical encounters accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.
• •Participate in call coverage and after-hours patient care as assigned.
• •Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, care managers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• •Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and evidence-based practice guidelines.

Qualifications

Required

• •Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• •Current Florida APRN or PA-C licensure.
• •National certification as an APRN or Physician Assistant.
• •Current BLS and ACLS certification.
