Our clinic operates between 8:30am and 6:00pm, with shifts worked on a rota basis. The role includes participation in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and a minimal out-of-hours emergency on-call service. The commitment is exceptionally light, with nurses typically called out only a handful of times each year.
As a Veterinary Nurse at Acorn Vets, you'll be involved in all aspects of patient care, including:
* Surgical nursing and anaesthesia monitoring
* Inpatient care and hospitalisation management
* Nurse consultations and client education
* Diagnostic procedures and laboratory work
* Medical nursing and treatment planning
* Supporting the veterinary team across a varied and interesting caseload
You'll be encouraged to fully utilise your nursing qualifications, contribute ideas, and continue developing your clinical interests in a supportive environment that values professional growth.
