The Workday HCM/Finance Integrations Specialist designs, develops, maintains, and supports integrations between Workday and University systems, with particular responsibility for HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Benefits integrations. The position helps ensure reliable and secure data exchange across critical enterprise systems.

Working under the direction of the Manager of Enterprise Applications and Development, the Integrations Specialist works independently and collaboratively with University stakeholders and Information Technology teams to develop new integrations, maintain existing interfaces, troubleshoot failures, and support Workday release testing.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design and develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, SOAP/REST, and related integration technologies.
• •Support and maintain existing HCM, Finance, Payroll, and Benefits integrations, including error resolution and release testing.
• •Use database technologies, including SQL, to support integration development, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
• •Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate resolution with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and vendors as appropriate.
• •Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data exchanges, support procedures, and related configurations.
• •Apply information security practices to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the University's information.
• •Communicate with management, team members, and stakeholders regarding key issues, changes, and integration support needs.
• •Research emerging technologies and Workday integration capabilities relevant to assigned responsibilities.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in a computing discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience as an integration developer.
• •Experience with Workday Integrations, including Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, and Core Connectors.
• •Experience developing API-based integrations and solutions.
• •Broad-based knowledge of software engineering, integration architecture, and the software development life cycle.
• •Experience with database technologies, including SQL.
• •Understanding of database querying and extracting information from relational data sources.
• •Understanding of information security principles and secure data exchange practices.
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
• •Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Workday Integrations Pro certification.
