Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.59

Under moderate supervision, performs agency support services by maintaining client files; enters, reviews and validates agency management system data; provides basic to moderately complex internal helpdesk support to agency personnel. Conducts research using the agency management system and carrier websites. Meets and adheres to department's established key performance metrics, service time, and quality standards. Works with colleagues in a team-based environment. Some degree of travel may be necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and 3-years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of technical support experience and/or insurance agency management system experience preferred
  • Property & Casualty Broker's license and/or Life, Accident, and Health license or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the agency management system
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, pay attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Ability to analyze data, research problems and make sound decisions using own judgment, manuals, and available resources
  • Ability to work independently and in groups
  • Effective verbal and business writing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Tasks Performed:

  • 25% - Document management; Process daily incoming and outgoing documents for all departments and branches within the agency. Retrieve, scan and attach documents to customers' files; launch workflows for agency personnel in agency management system
  • 25% - Maintain agency files accurately and consistently by researching, validating and entering data following agency workflows and guidelines
  • 20% - Process daily interface items/download data, including commissions management, according to agency procedures and guidelines
  • 15% - Process billing items received from carriers or internal staff according to agency procedures and guidelines
  • 10% - Provide support to colleagues by responding to basic to moderately complex inquiries and technical troubleshooting requests regarding agency management and other software systems deemed the responsibility of the department
  • 5% - Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
  • Stationary 75% of time or greater
  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
